14th november 2016 Bangkok, Thailand trip part 1
14th November '16
As for day 2, my family and i had a pre planned day included in the tour package other than the assist in hotel booking and fetching us from the airport. They arranged a tour guide with us on the second day, she brought us to the famous temples for sightseeing for us to know more about their culture and customs. The first place they brought us to was the famous 4 faced Buddha figure, the Erawan Shrine which many people went to pray and take pictures with. Although personally, Buddhism is not our belief it was still a great experience. After a short trip at the famous Erawan Shrine, we then headed to board a small ferry which brought us to the Wat Arun, the 'Temple of Dawn'. The architecture was amazing however when we were there it was not fully built yet, It was under reconstruction. We alighted nearby to walk to the ferry.

The shop houses sold many different varieties of dried local delights which were pretty amazing. It is really worth the try plus it is pretty affordable.
